Marble-look quartz island kitchen
A full kitchen in white shaker cabinetry, built around a large marble-look quartz island with a matching slab backsplash behind the range.
Glass tile is unforgiving. The adhesive shows through it, the edges show every cut, and any wander in the courses is obvious against a straight counter line. It gets dry-laid and set out first.
The run was planned around the outlets and the window return so no course ends on a sliver, and the joints were kept tight to let the quartz below stay the loudest thing in the room.
