Marble-look quartz island kitchen
A full kitchen in white shaker cabinetry, built around a large marble-look quartz island with a matching slab backsplash behind the range.
An apron-front sink changes the cut. The stone has to be worked around the basin rather than dropped over it, so the reveal on each side stays even and the front edge lines up with the cabinet below it.
The peninsula turns a corner and still reads as one surface, which is down to where the seam sits. Engineered quartz suited this kitchen: non-porous, consistent in colour across the whole run, and no sealing to keep up with.
